Opportunities for Service and Fellowship
Fellowship Time
Offered each Sunday Morning after the 9:30 a.m. Sanctuary Worship Service in our Fellowship Hall. There are snacks, coffee and drinks offered as well as getting to fellowship with other church family.
Free Meal
Community free meal provided the 1st Monday of odd numbered months for a time to share a meal and fellowship with our community. Serving begins at 5:30 pm, dine-in only. Deliveries are available upon request. Call the church office at 309-244-8800 for more information.
Vacation Bible School
Is held the 1st full week of June following school releasing for the summer.
Chicken Supper
The first Sunday in November a special offering is received, "Chicken-less Chicken Supper Offering". The proceeds from the offering supports missions, not just locally but regionally and worldwide.
Chicken Noodle Dinner
Each year the UMW put together a chicken noodle dinner. There are no tickets sold, it is by donations only. This is done the 1st Thursday of December each year. The same time there is also a Christmas Bazaar which offers different kind of goodies that can be bought. Some items include the homemade noodles the UMW make for the Chicken noodle dinner, deli items, sweets, cakes, pies, crafts, gifts and attic treasures. Shut-In Ministry
We also reach out to those that are unable to Worship and Fellowship with us. If you know of someone that is shut-in or in a nursing home or other care facility, please contact the church office 309-244-8800.
United Methodist Jr. High Youth Fellowship
1st & 3rd Sundays September thru May
4:30 p.m.
United Women in Faith
Meet the 2nd Wednesday at 7pm of each month, except for June, July and December. Any women is invited to attend any of the meetings. You do not have to be a member of the church to attend. Need more information please contact Joanna Adair at 309-657-1895, or the church office at 309-244-8800..
United Methodist Men
The men of our church meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from September thru May at 7:30am. A breakfast is provided. Fellowship and devotions are shared during this time.
